Born in Marks, Mississippi and raised in Chicago, Curtis Kincaid is a guitarist, producer, songwriter, and recording artist known for blending soulful guitar, smooth grooves, and modern production.
Curtis has played guitar on major records including Twista’s classic hit “Wetter,” Shawnna featuring Tia London’s “Calling U,” and Beyoncé’s “Cuff It (Wetter Remix).” His resume includes collaborations with legendary producer The Legendary Traxster — 2025 SESAC Producer of the Year — along with Grammy-winning producers NO I.D. and Shekspere, best known for producing TLC’s iconic hit “No Scrubs.”
He has also performed alongside DJ Quik and Kindred The Family Soul and composed commercial music connected to former President Bill Clinton and former U.S. Ambassador Carol Moseley Braun.
A self-made multi-instrumentalist, Curtis built his career independently while developing a signature sound driven by passionate guitar work, soulful melodies, and polished production.
Now stepping further into the spotlight as a solo artist, Curtis continues expanding his catalog with his newest singles “Always On My Mind” and “So Good.”
